TDTE
November DuctLetter
Greetings TDTE members; its that time of year again, when you receive a Ductletter informing you of what is going on.
I will start out with an apology for not sending one of these out last month. We had a really busy month, and we really didn’t have enough time to send one out. But this one will be packed with so much adhesive goodness; you will not know what to do with it!
Going Silver
This year’s challenge is labeled, Going Silver, and what we mean by that is you are to go crazy with Duct Tape this month. Do stuff with it! Save scraps and pieces you would usually through away, fix more things, or just tell more people about TDTE. The following is a testimony from the Co-founder of how he went Silver.
I was getting ready to go somewhere, when I noticed that there was a hole in my shirt. I began to panic since I really wanted to wear the shirt. I began to pace back and forth, trying to think of a way to fix it. Suddenly I remembered two things: “There isn’t much that Duct Tape can’t fix,” and “When it comes to a problem, nothing says ‘fix’ like Duct Tape,” So I whipped out my handy role of Duct Tape, and cut a small sliver off. Then, after turning the shirt inside out, I taped the hole. After I put the shirt on, the hole just looked like a small line, barely visible, until you actually looked for it.
Well you heard your assignment members! Now it is your turn to do it, and remember, always have fun!
Website_________________________________________________________________
Yes, you read it right, it said Website. Just recently, the founder and I had a secret meeting, and we discussed our group’s greatest problem, our original Website was no long working. We talked, and talked, then finally we came to a conclusion: Make a new one. So that’s what we did, using Word Press. The link to the site is: http://tdte.wordpress.com/
We are going to make a list of all the members in the group, so I would ask if you could send us a nickname or pseudonym so that we can put that down, instead of your real name for privacy policies.
Also, we will put the pictures up for the contest that we will do, but the page that will have the pictures will be password protected. In fact we have a password for one of these pages now, it is the Ductlympics 2008 one, and the password is _______(*CENSORED FOR PRIVACY REASONS*).
